Seeking advice on extra wide roller blinds

Has anyone had experiences, good or bad, with extra wide roller blinds? We're looking for one that's about 230 cm wide and there are various online sites offering this with.

No problems with mine that's about that size ! Wasn't expensive either ! It's a pulley one rather than spring loaded.

2.3m is not too wide, i have had wooden wide-slatted Venetian wider than this; no problem at all.

We have a huge one in our kitchen (3m ?). Installed by the previous owner. I don't particularly like the fabric but it works well. It's from John Lewis (made to measure, I assume).
