Sulphur smell after karndean fitted!!!

We have had karndean fitted over the last 3 days and not been living in the house. There is a horrible sulphur type smell or in other words rotten egg smell which seems to be from the screed that was used. Have googled this and nothing seems to come up so is this normal?? If so how long will it take to go. It's vile! Worried screed didn't dry out properly or something.

Also did you do the refresh treatment straight after installing?

My Karndean has been down 10 years. It's never had the refresh treatment & it looks good as new. My MIL treated her karndean & it looked a bit too shiny which is why we didnt bother.

Ok thanks. Not sure whether to do it now. Might try it out on a spare plank and see what it looks like
