8.5 kw Electric Shower Choice

Hello,
Our old Triton electric shower has burnt out beyond repair, the plumbing in our dormer bungalow means the upstairs shower needs to be electric and our wiring and cabling means the power can be no higher than 8.5kw. So our range of options is a bit limited, but on the plus side our cold water pressure is quite strong.
We were looking at the Triton T150 Thermostatic but gather some people have had reliability problems with this one and so were wondering about the Aqualisa Aquastyle instead? Any thoughts out there on the best 8.5 kw electric shower for us to buy?

Aqualisa showers are very good, though I don't like electric showers.

If you are thinking of buying an expensive shower, consider having a new, larger cable and MCB. You need an electrician who is a member of a Competent Person Scheme such as NICIEC.

Electric shower cables must not be buried in loft insulation (unless they have been calculated and sized for it).

Why don't you like electric showers, John?
