Does £1700 seem a lot for ringhult ikea kitchen?

This doesn't include work surfaces, handles or taps. It's a small kitchen, roughly 10 foot by six feet with units in an L shape. Builder really kindly offered to plan and purchase it for me but this seems a tad more than I expected? Does include £100 sink and £250 oven and £250 hob.

No, in fact, you're only paying £1100 for units!

I don't know what that Ikea range looks like or if Ikea kitchens are any good - but that seems a very low price for units. If you like them, go for it!

That's very reasonable.

First time ever buying a kitchen! It's not the cheapest or the most expensive. It's a white gloss mid range. I really like it! Might buy posher handles? Anyone ever done that?

Ikea units get very good reviews and I know the range you mean. If you Google 'customising ikea kitchen' you will get lots of ideas about 'tarting up' a basic ikea kitchen with handles, extra panels, nice worktops etc.
