We have the Dancook 9000 and think it's great. It was the only one on the market that was both a BBQ and fire pit when we bought it a few years ago.
It's great to BBQ on, nice and big, and when the BBQ is over we pile it with wood and sit round it as it gets chilly. The rim of the pit doesn't get hot do no scolding knees when you are relaxing. Perfect height for marshmallows!
Negatives - it's perfect toddler / pet height so if you have either then constant supervision, but that's the same as any BBQ. The height might also be an issue if you have back pain and are bending over to cook. The heat when we use it as a fire pit can be wasted and I've seen fire pits with lids that push the heat to the side. They don't BBQ though.
All that said, it works really well for us and has seen many good nights with friends.
Finally, if you do buy it, I'd recommend buying the spark guard too.
