Sink, cooker, fridge all on one wall?

So, I carefully planned my new kitchen, placing a range cooker on one wall and the sink and dishwasher opposite on the peninsula.
It had a hot beverage zone and a home for the toaster (both well out of the way of the cooker) and a special place for DH's effing bread maker, tucked away above a cupboard with drawers for his many flours.
I could transfer all plates and cups from the dishwasher to their drawers while standing in one place, and made sure any and all actions were as easy for left handed me as for right handed DH.
Architect forgot to give plan to builder, who has put services all on one wall and concreted the floor .
So, I can either pay even more £££ to have a pipe run under the floor from the utility (which feels like a fudge that will cause trouble in future) or cram the sink and dishwasher onto the same wall as the cooker and fridge (so much for my dynamic work space).
Does anyone have this arrangement? Is it a total pain in the arse? Will the peninsula just become a place to dump crap if it doesn't have a purpose? Should I strangle someone?

Who is managing the build?

I'd think the correction should have been done with no extra cost for you, as the builder should have followed a plan and the architect should have given the plan to the builder.

Unless you are the middle person, in which case, I'd probably put up with having them all on the same side. Not sure what you mean by peninsula and opposite. Was it from the opposite wall, or from a perpendicular side wall? Are you sure pipes can't go around it?

I'd say ideally get it fixed, it will annoy you for ever. Is the drainage the problem or the water supply? Can you run anything outside the house?

Unless your kitchen is very long and narrow I think it would be a PITA to have them in a line. Can you rearrange so the sink/dishwasher are next to the plumbing but the cooker/fridge go elsewhere as they only need electrics. Kind of more or less keep your plan but rotate or reverse it?

Even if it's your mistake though I would try to find money to change it. Our builder dug up the garden and re-laid a drain when it turned out part of the system wasn't draining very well. They should be bothered about the result.

The architect is managing the build though she isn't really 'owning' this problem
She planned originally with hobs on the peninsula (like an island running parallel to the main wall but closed off at one end) but I think large pots of boiling water with no splashback are an accident waiting to happen (and we've chosen a range cooker).
We replanned weeks ago but she clearly didn't pass the new plan on to the builder. Builder clearly pissed off but he has been fab so far.

It's the architect's cock-up. Get her (or her firm) to cough up. Find all the emails relating the new layout and make her "own" this problem. Digging up a small channel in the floor and running a pipe isn't a huge job so shouldn't cost a fortune but, yes, I would be pissed off if I were the builder.

you can run water pipes and gas pipes round the wall at skirting level.

drainage pipes however need a slight slope on them.

"she isn't really 'owning' this problem" might be fair if you aren't paying her and she's doing it as a hobby. Otherwise, not.
