What do you think of this kitchen floor?

And how do you think they did it? It's so shiny, and light bounces off it.
Slippy? Highly chippable? I'm finding it quite lovely and wondering about it...

Paint and then some kind of super-hard varnish? I would think scratchable more than chippable. If you polish to a high shine as they have done for the photo, then yes, a bit slippy! Touching up might be a pain of sanding back and layering up the varnish again. You could also look at rubber or vinyl flooring in bright solid colours, but it wouldn't be so shiny.

I think it looks beautiful. I love the combination of very sober coloured cabinets and very glam floor.

A solid colour floor in a kitchen would be a lot of work to keep clean, I think.

This floor is like Perspex or something. But it's wood. You're right about the varnish, and Yy..scratching would probably be a problem. I luff it though!
