Wickes stores

My local store does not have trolleys with childrens seats. When I contacted Wickes their Customer Services advised that it is their policy to not provide them as the parent/carer should carry the child. Has anyone else experienced this and what are lone parents/carers expected to do other than shop elsewhere?

It's impossible to carry a child and steer a trolley. What a ridiculous policy.

I avoid certain shops if I know DS can't go in a trolly and need more than a basket. It's a pain in the ass.

Homebase have seat in their trolleys. Boycott wickes.

That's ridiculous. B and Q also have trolleys with seats in.
