New build kitchens

After a disastrous survey come back from the house we intended to buy we've been to look at a new build the house should be ready July the kitchen tiles etc have been chosen by the developer we live the kitchen cupboards but dislike the work tops has anyone ever tried to negotiate on fittings that are due to go in a house and got them changed?

Depends on if it's too late for the developer to change it. They have quite strict cut of times with the supplier. Ask if it's possible, you'll get a straight yes or no. If it is possible they'll show you samples of the other work tops for that spec kitchen.

Thank you the development is still being built so hoping we can dh not be impressed if I want to change it as soon as we move it
