not any more.

When I did, I enquired among some of the local shopowners (old area) who maintained and recovered theirs.

we used to have one - company was expensive but awning was good.

I think not many companies make them anymore

My mum and dad had a couple of exorbitant quotes from specialist companies. Then we want to a nursery open day and asked where their awning was from, and it turned out it was from Makro for about £200. Mum and Dad bought one and had a local builder install it for £100, and 2 years later it still looks great.

Thanks, I've just found this company but about 4k for an awning (German made though...so must be good). Just seems a bit expensive.

Must visit Makro!

We had a Weinor one when we lived in Germany. They are good quality but not cheap!

Ruhrpott - it's the Weinor ones that we looked at. Looks like typically good German manufacturing so good to hear that you thought they were good.
