How much and how long to replace a kitchen sink?

Ours has cracked and is now leaking. Any idea-I am about to start emailing plumbers.
Any recommendations for sinks too. It's a 1.5 bowl with draining board.

Ours is made of some sort of composite. I think it is a Franke sink. Anyway - very durable, easy to clean, doesn't scratch or show watermarks like stainless steel and kinder to my plates than the pottery butler's sink!
