Looking for advice in colour to paint fence now extension is finished, should add the bench at back of garden us getting stained light oak
Option 1 - leave colour as is and restrain in same colour
Option 2 - colour match grey kitchen units and have same colour on fence against the white garden wall

Tricky one. I would have said leave it 'normal'. But since you appear to have fantastic folding doors off your kitchen it would good to 'extend' the kitchen and paint the fence grey, which would contrast very nicely with the white wall.

But I'm not sure about grey.... I think it would show every speck of dirt.

I'm not much help really am I?!

Option 3 - pick a grey green Grin

That way it will merge the inside grey with the outside green

Was swaying towards grey but not sure if it would look too much?

I like it as it is.

Inline the colour of the new fence. Can you make the other one the same colour? Or will new one fade to the other colour?

Our garden designer is very firm in his view that fences should be dark brown, as they just seem to disappear into the background.

That, coupled with the fact that it is easier to keep, I would say stay as it is.

Thanks, think not may stay as is bit reprinted, now, should seat at back go same colour as fence it contrast in light oak?
