Plasterboard problem, help!

We have a new build house and have put up curtains 90x90 chenille (sp) in the livingroom. The problem is that the fixing for one side of the curtain pole is pulling away from the plasterboard despite using plasterboard fixing. This is the second time this has happened, the first time my dad and handyman asked if we'd pulled on the curtain Confused but we put it down the the curtains being opened and closed, this time the curtains have not moved but still the fixing is pulling up and wrecking the plasterboard Angry
Anyone able to offer a solution?

I think you'll need to attach a wooden baton to the metal partitions behind the plasterboard - you can then attach your curtain pole to the wood baton.
