kitchen tap with flexible hose

I'm looking for a mixer tap (200mm centres so it'll fit the holes already in the worktop) that has a flexible hose type bit that will pull out and clean the edges of the stupidly impractical massive butler sink, which is shallow and huge and gives me a back ache when I wash up as the horrible taps are so far away.

Any suggestions? I've had a search that seems to suggest people don't really make them any more. Is that because they always break?

Thanks in advance Smile

Do not buy a Franke one! It came with the kitchen and you would expext it to work fine. No, it grates against the surface, redicing the swing to about 90 degrees over two sinks. It's been repaired several times and is now dented by spanners. However, the hose system is a good idea.

My Franke one has lasted 11 years - we've just had to spend £50 on spares and DH (who is no plumber) managed to fit them himself.

I have this one from Grohe, had it 5 years with absolutely no problems. i dont know about the sizing but both grohe and hansgrohe do this style.

We had Grohe Minta and Blanco Master S in the past, both were very good. You can spend a lot on taps and it's really down to preference. we found Grohe make great taps too, and Minta worked for us without any problems.

I've got the Franke wave (in matt chrome) and I love it.

I've also got a brand new Franke wave (still boxed) in polished chrome (bought by mistake...long story so if you are near Teddington by chance you can have it for half price)

thanks all. I really like those - trouble is unless we replace the granite worktops (fugly but £££ - came with the house) we need a tap that has two stalks. All the mixer taps I've found that will work look really old fashioned (or traditional, depending on which way you look at it). The contemporary ones seems to only have one stalk. I can see that we'll end up having to get a new entire kitchen Grin

I am trying to get hold of the exact tap you have (had) - any chance it's still for sale ? I will pay postage. Thank you
