Paint advice - best nearly white but not quite?

We have a loft room with slopey ceilings which are quite low (room is original we haven't converted just done up). Am thinking same colour for walls and ceiling as so low but pure white will be a bit cold, won't it? Is there something very neat white but with a small hint of warmth? Don't mind about which brand. Had Sanderson cameo white in our hold house which was good but maybe even that would be too much. Dulux barley white we have in hall and landing but that's definitely too much of a 'colour'. Can anyone advise?

Fir'ed Earth - Apres Ski - 'warm white' and I also like Aunty Maud from FE. Almost a hint of blue/grey in the white, cool, but with depth. Both absolutely beautiful.

Go into any Fired Earth or Farrow and Ball shops, ask this question and get their colour charts. Then (if money is tight), go to any independent paint shop and they will match it for you.

I would also differentiate between ceilings and walls, will still look good, despite the low room.

I've just done my kitchen in Homebases "Contemporary" stupid name but it's a ?ovely white. It's the colour of milk rather than a brilliant white.

I've just painted a room in strong white. It is a beautiful colour and very warm looking but it grey not white (only looks white in very bright sunlight).

Dulux timeless might hit the mark.

I think I want to avoid anything cool with a hint of grey or blue. More aftr a nearly-white with a touch of warmth. Bit limited where I can go so can't access fires earth round here. Most local shop has crown and f&b.
Am thinking maybe f&b wimborne white? Crown snowdrop looks a bit too strong and cool, anyone experienced their milk white?

There are a few almost white colours in the dulux light and space range which are FAB for lofts. I used one (can't remember which) in the corridors of the loft conversion in my old house, and it was genuinely somehow magically brighter and less cramped, without being cold.

Crown Milk White. I have this all over and received lots of compliments on it.

I spent an absolute fortune on sample pots of white shades, F&B, fired earth, little Greene, etc, they were all either tinged with grey which I hate or yellowy creams. I felt demented by the whole process!

I hit the jackpot with a bucket of trade white, white but without the blue of brilliant white, it's slightly soft without and yellow. And so cheap

I have used dulux timeless and crown milk white in our bedrooms and both are warm.

Another vote for Crown Milk White, it's fab. We have it in East, South, and West facing rooms, and it's lovely in all of them, not blue and cold at all.

Thanks everyone, went for f&b wimborne white in the end (the nearest shop has only crown and f&b so other brands bit more of a palava to get). Really pleased so far. Subtle and more white than cream imo but you can see it's got a warm creaminess when next to white.
