Mortgage interview today

I have my internet banking open so can see all my direct debits, I have my payslips, I have my mortgage enquiry form that they also have a copy of.

What is there left to ask me?

It takes forever. Mine was at least 2 hours.

Id take bank statements to explain everything on there - takeaways, cash taken out, train fares, clothes.... they are very obsessive!

How about your job - is it permanent, a contract? If slightly unusual Id take your contract of employment with hours and salary.

Plus food, drinks......
