Where do I buy quirky knobs?

Me and DH are currently having the carpentry done for a walk in wardrobe with lots of drawers/cupboards that require knobs.

One thing we were thinking of doing to was to buy lots of different quirky/vintage knobs for the drawers. Does anyone know of a good source for this sort of thing, either online or in London (we're in north London)?

Thank you.....

Am pleased to get to write 'quirky knobs' in a post :)

knobandknocker.co.uk/

Also auction houses/salvage yards...

There are tons and tons of people selling them on ebay - just type in 'drawer knobs' and you will get hundreds of sellers of things like this. Exactly the same ones (made in China…) you will get in expensive quirky/'vintage' design shops. I got quite a mixture when I was renovating DD's room lately.

If you want to pay more, try a fashionable boutique selling the same stock.

Turnstyle Designs. Brilliant!

I would avoid Bombay Duck. I used to work as a buyer in a naice shop and had to send back about a 3rd of their stuff as it was broken on delivery. Might be better now though. Turnstyle are nice.

Christ, I have a drawer full of the fuckers after the bastards we bought the house from replaced all the normal doorknobs and handles in the kitchen with quirky/mismatched ones. Wouldn't have been an issue had it not been a brand new kitchen installed shortly before it went on the market, and they didn't keep the old ones!

GuatemalanRum · 03/05/2015 17:43

Ooh Er!

I have nothing else to say.
