Any good? In comparison to the regular Wickes ones?

These are the 'take away' ones and are pretty cheap. I'm just wondering whether the more expensive ones are worth the extra?

Hi, I recently got a quote for the Atlanta wickes kitchen. It's a shaker design in cream. I was quite happy with the look and feel and the price quote. However, I have chosen a Howdens burford in cream gloss. I can get a generous trade discount and I felt that the doors, which take the most impact, were better quality. Wood instead of wickes mdf. It's still a lot of money for a pile of Mdf for the carcasses. I've heard good things about wickes kitchens. Our 10 yr old MFI kitchen still looks fine, but the integrated white goods have fallen apart.

The howdens price was similar thanks to the discount, but i think the wickes fitting was a good bit cheaper. But it didn't include painting, electrics and plumbing, etc. so u need to include all those fiddly bits too. It soon adds up.

HTH.
