Curtains - any recommendations?

I need to get some curtains made for 3m wide French windows in a loft conversion we're currently putting in. It is for a south-facing bedroom, so we'd like the curtains to keep out the sun in the day if necessary, and to be pretty and cosy in the evenings.

I've never bought any before - do you have recommendations on good suppliers? (we're in north London if that makes a difference) and any thoughts on materials/things I ought to think about? Never had curtains made before. Thank you!

I would go for blinds. Luxaflex are good.

I love this company! I've had two curtains and four blinds from them! excellent service a very reasonable.

Get the curtains interlinked and I would say with blackout of for a bedroom.

That should say interlined.

The Curtain Factory Outlet in Finchley made ours. It depends a bit on what fabrics they have in stock when you visit, but fantastic quality, amazing value, and a huge range to choose from.
