Bosch integrated dishwasher in an Ikea metod kitchen?

My basic question is has anyone successfully fitted a non-ikea integrated dishwasher into an IKEA metod cabinet using a metod door panel?

The blurb in the catalogue seems to suggest this is possible but I've seen some threads on other sites where people have struggled and have had to do a bit of a bodge job.

I would love not to have to buy a new dishwasher as it is perfectly sound - can anyone advise please?

If you look online at the fitting manual for the Bosch DW you like - see if it gives you a size guide for doors as the Metod door is a bit taller than some standard doors .

Yes! We bought a 60cm wide door and followed the instructions on the dw to screw it to the DW door.

We had to cut a couple of inches off the bottom of the door - which was annoying, and put a plinth type thing behind it, and dh screwed the door knob in too low. So we had to buy another door in ikea and do it again. (But it cost hardly anything).
So my advice is measure properly :)

Thank you both. Careful measuring required then!
