The glass shade from one of our light fittings in the hall has broken - the light bulb in it was too hot (thanks DP!) so some pieces of glass are missing. Can I repair this? Do I need to use any special stuff? I am loathed to chuck it, it's one of a pair and they came with the house, think they must be 50/60s and I really like them!
