Which Cable TV company for Sports in the UK?

Hi all, my elderly father has early dementia, so can't follow most TV programmes but loves Sport. He keeps asking for Sky TV so he can watch all the sport God sends - but I'm not sure if Sky is the best in terms of coverage of all tournaments. I think his main sports are Tennis, Golf and Football - can anyone advise? We are in the UK.

Thanks!

Sky sports is great ,they have golf on most weeks ( thurs- sun) ,plenty of football and loads of tennis . We have it mainly for the cricket which is also well covered . They also have all the Formula 1 if that floats your boat . The premier league is shared with bT sports but they have plenty and also have lots of european football . You also get Eurosport with a sky package and that gives you loads more tennis and road cycling among other things .

just ordered Sky as getting fed up with endless failing freeview boxes. Sign up for moneysaving expert and get their code which gives 40% off AND £100 credit; that means the basic package including install is £50 for the first year.

they quoted me £12 a month for the sport package, and you can turn off at a month's notice.
