My partner and I are buying our first house together. My partner has a default on his credit file which is 6 years old and due to fall off next month.
I have sold my house a few days ago. Not sure if it will be off in time to get a mortgage or should we rent for 6 months. I would rather buy as we have a toddler and it will be a lot of upheaval.
Anyone had any dealings with Equifax?
