how much to raise a roof?!

I was sitting in the garden this afternoon and noticed that our utility room roof (Victorian terrace, was originally bathroom and possibly coal storage knocked through) has a much steeper angle than next door's, which it backs up to. It's a room that's difficult to fit things in and if our roof was more like next door's lots of problems would be solved. It's not a big room, maybe 4m by 1.5 ish. How much do you think it would cost to raise up on one side by two or three rows of bricks? Hope it's not a piece of string type question! Has anyone done similar? Confused

Raised our garage roof considerably so not comparable! Sorry. I suggest you get a couple of builders round because the question is - how are you going to support the roof whilst you add some bricks? Obviously it is a heavy structure, so how will this be managed? Or, will you have to take the slates/tiles off? Way more expensive!
