Approximate price for a porch?

Our wooden porch is rotting away... It has a good, concrete and tiled floor and the pitched roof is an original part of the house so we'd just need a brick bottom half approx. 2m along the front and 1m on the side - other side is a bay window, and windows with two little openers making up the top half of the front and side. Anyone know how much this might cost us or know how I could find out? Just looking for a ballpark before we faff around getting accurate quotes - I've no idea if it'll be £1k or 5k!

Our porch was £2500, had roof so needed foundations, dwarf walls and glazing units and smaller than yours. Who you go for will want to ensure foundation are adequate. I found the problem with these types of jobs is that whilst expensive to you and me, to a good busy builder/ glazier they just do not seem bothered to competively quote. I had to go with a double glazing company whose work I witnessed on a cancelation (fit me in whenever) timescale. I am South east.

I've been quoted £5000 (excl vat) in a sight unseen on the phone quote as part of a garage conversion (Midlands). Mine would be a bigger job than yours as no foundation or anything there yet and would need knocking through external walls to get access.

Our was just under 3K we did our own foundations and cement and just got someone to do the brick laying and someone else to do the roof fascias and guttering, the biggest expense was our front door which was a Composite Doors with window panels each side... We extended 2 meters out and a little bit more in the side, we left the curved wall where the old door was in the picture...
