Moving home - should I touch up paintwork?

I'm moving next week and whilst packing I've noticed that some of the walls need painted. It's really where I've removed frames and mirrors, should I try and touch up these areas or leave them? I've filled in the holes from screws etc with filler and I'm not sure if that's enough.

I've never sold before so not sure what's expected.

If you've already sold I wouldn't bother - they may well repaint anyway. Do clean though, because it's horrible moving into a dirty house!

If you've filled the holes you've done more than most people!

I honestly wouldn't bother, most peope redecorate anyway.

Just leave a nice 'New Home' card, good Karma and all that. Job done Easter Grin

I wouldn't bother as they may well repaint with different colours themselves. However, I do think it would be really kind to leave any spare paint behind with a note as to which room it goes in so that they can retouch themselves if they want to.

Thanks for the replies. I will definitely leave it clean and I've bought a new home card and some champagne. The walls are all white but I do have paint I could leave, might just do that :)

That's a really kind thing to do.

I know plenty of people who discovered the light bulbs had moved house!
