Some time ago i realised the radiator in my daughters bedroom wasnt heating up properly. I got an engineer out and he couldnt find any issue so he thought it was because it was furthest from the boiler. To counteract this he turned down the lockshield valves on the other radiators in the home to help my daughters get more heat.
However I have since discovered the issue is actually with the temperature controller on the radiator in my daughters room, its somehow pressing down on the valve and stopping the water flowing in freely. We took the temperature controller off and the radiator is filling and heating normally.
However i thought i should return the lockshield valves to their original settings on all the other radiators so turned these anti clockwise until they gave resistance. Im now worried I shouldnt have touched them and am panicking im going to wake up with exploded radiators or no heating at all!
Can anyone confirm i have done this correctly?
