I've just shovelled next door neighbour's cat's poo back in to her garden

That's fair isn't it?

Every day I get home and the next door's cat stared at me like 'what are you doing here in my bathroom?'

I have already spent a fortune on that green stuff, get the fuck out of my garden it's called. But it only lasts about 3 days, then the smell goes and it gets rained away.

I will carry on smiling and nodding when I see elderly neighbour. I don't want to speak to her about her krapping cat. I want to say hello neighbour. How are you. Fine. I'm fine too. I don't want to be put in the position of having to raise it with her that I can hear her dog barking all night and her cat is now crapping by my front door.

Why do people who live in a 82 metres sq house think they should have three animals? Confused

I think that's really sad. She can't help what the cat does Sad
Yes it's annoying but really?

That cat might be the only company she has. I can appreciate that it's a pain in the arse to clear up cat shit but it's not the end of the world?

I think you're being quite spiteful and I think you now realise that.

MissyMistress402 · 01/04/2015 20:49

It's her problem what does she do when it shits in her garden anyway, being old nothing to do with it. If she can't cope with a shitting animal she shouldn't keep one. YANBU.

SoupDreggon · 01/04/2015 20:49

I'm certainly not new to mn.

Oh, so you are just a pointless cowardly name changer then. Who can't even do it properly.

fairyfuckwings · 01/04/2015 20:50

You're absolutely right.

You just carry on being a nasty spiteful neighbour. Make your elderly neighbours life as hard as possible.

That'll learn her.

Mintyy · 01/04/2015 20:50

So why are you not the same as the op naboenskat?

You must have namechanged some time between posting your op and coming back to the thread.

LittleBairn · 01/04/2015 20:50

YANBU I choose not to have pets I don't see why I should up with other people's cat crap.

SuburbanRhonda · 01/04/2015 20:51

I definitely think you should phone to find out if there's a law that says there's a limit to the number of animals a person can have in a small space and close to neighbours.

Definitely.

LittleBairn · 01/04/2015 20:52

wine she could choose to have an indoor cat and litter tray instead she chooses to inflict her decision to have a pet on her neighbours.

nunkspugget · 01/04/2015 20:53

Yabu for using a shovel. A trowel will give it better trajectory....and better aim. a seasoned cat shit slinger here

JuliaDream · 01/04/2015 20:56

This is not in AIBU.

Pico2 · 01/04/2015 20:56

We've had problems with cat shit, particularly in the lawn. It makes a massive mess if you don't spot it before mowing. We have ultrasonic, motion sensitive cat scarers, which seem to have solved the problem.

Cat is BU' can't you get lion poo from a zoo to scare the cat off - make it think a lion lives in your garden perhaps?
I don't know too much about cats but I do know the bastard one from down the road has stopped Turning up since it got accidentally locked in our garage overnight although it did shit in our garage then

Naboenskat · 01/04/2015 20:58

.............the nit picking over a capital N. Confused

Obviously I have another name on mn. That's allowed. Report me if you want to. How completely illogical to say that this post must be a troll, as if there were a shortage of cats crapping in their neighbours' gardens.

Anyway, I thought that this would help, to vent about a really annoying situation I can do nothing about, but reading people defending cat owner selfishness and telling me this is made up has not helped.

Thank you to the people who do get it.

fairyfuckwings · 01/04/2015 21:01

I get it perfectly. I get exactly what sort of neighbour you are.

MrsNuckyThompson · 01/04/2015 21:02

It's not really true that you it's an annoying situation that you feel you can do nothing about.

What you did about it was to shovel shit into an old lady's garden. She has no idea where her cat shits and whilst the cat can be forgiven, you can't!

Flossiechops · 01/04/2015 21:05

I get it, honestly I do our neighbours cats shit in our garden too and I do not like it but I genuinely think your being mean to throw it back over the fence. Why not bin it instead surely it's just as much effort? She is an elderly lady and having shit flung over the fence can't be of any help.

Mintyy · 01/04/2015 21:09

Whoa, who said you are a troll?

I said you are obviously a name changer, which is obviously different.

It seems that you are scared to post a provocative and goady thread like this under your usual name.

Mintyy · 01/04/2015 21:12

I am a cat owner who has to shovel the shit from my neighbours cats off the garden. It isn't any kind of fun but then again it is a miniscule issue in my life compared to all the other actual serious crap I have to deal with.

ThatBloodyWoman · 01/04/2015 21:15

82metres square.
I've no idea how big that is.

ThatBloodyWoman · 01/04/2015 21:18

Whats the 3rd animal?
Is it a giraffe?
Mountain gorilla?
Woolly mammoth?
Confused

SuburbanRhonda · 01/04/2015 21:19

Do you feel brave enough to speak to your elderly neighbour, or are you only "brave" enough to tip cat poo in her garden that you cannot be 100% sure is from her cat?

BitOutOfPractice · 01/04/2015 21:19

What exactly do you expect your elderly neighbour to do abut her cat crapping in your garden

Christ I know it's annoying. I'm annoyed by it too. But it's the cat doing it. Not her. And she's an old lady.

Amd I have no idea why your driving licence statement is relevant

Hope it made you feel better anyway

WineCowboy · 01/04/2015 21:20

I 'spose so little but it still feels a bit mean to me. We live with loads of gardens around ours and I wouldn't ever dream of chucking cat shit over someone else's garden fence, especially an elderly lady.

OP we found that cutting up fairly old satsumas and squeezing them over the lawn worked.

Haggisfish · 01/04/2015 21:20

I would suggest op doesn't bin it because it fucking reeks-far worse than any other shit, possibly barring fox shit. The smell sticks to your hands and nostrils. I had a dog got many years and happily picked up it's shit. My pet, my responsibility.
