I want to get some good cardboard boxes for moving house. Has anyone got any recommendations?

Sainsburys?
Tesco?
Majestic?

Try Freecycle or Freegle, there are often offers for packing boxes there.

Are you using removal company? They will often provide boxes (at a price) if you live in SE London I've got a load in the garage from when we moved!

TBH next time I move I'll pay for a packing service so I can live in my whole house right up to the date ....

Try this - buy boxes, help the homeless: Smile

bought good ones at ARGOS 5 for £15, they have different sizes

AND don't forget to put a load of packing tape on them !

I used argos ones as well.

Our removal co has given us some and I have Bern stockpiling them from the supermarket. The flat fruits boxes are great for books and dvds. Wish I'd known about DePaul though, would have used them too. Great idea.

Cumberlover76 · 30/03/2015 09:51

thanks all. Unfortunately not in the SE Nancy. We are moving ourselves and want to pack some stuff up for storage before we put the house on the market.

The depaul is a great idea.

A1 boxes online. They are a family business and are unbelievably fast and reliable. They are fabulous.
