Victorian house- exterior light

Does anyone have a good solution for attaching an exterior light to the front of a Victorian house - hate the faux carriage lamp thing but the front of the house (terraced) is dark and we need a means to light it at night. I like modern design combined sympathetically with older architecture but just can't find anything that would not look out of place.

Has anyone found a solution to a similar problem?

How about one of those fisherman type lights? Garden trading have some nice ones.

Cannot speak for us as we have the faux carriage lamp and some rather industrial ones DH found in one of his catalogues.

Maybe some sort of globe light?

Thanks both, think half the problem is modern lights are designed for wider house fronts so look huge and front of our will be white/ pale in colour so making prob worse.

I love jim lawrence lights but they do tend toward the traditional. The quality is fantastic though.

Thanks all some great suggestions. Have pinned a cream one, a zinc one and a brass one and think all of those could work on our house. We have zinc window boxes so that one could be a winner, particularly with the colour scheme we are planning for the door and window sills.
