Any good experiences of tile paint?

We have about 1.5 sq m of tiles in our utility room. Don't want to remove them as we'd have to replaster and don't want to spend the time or the money.

But, it'd be nice to make the utility nice so I don't want to leave them. I last painted tiles in the 90s... It wasn't good. Any tips / hints / good stories?

We did our kitchen, used bullseye 123 primer and then a paint that I can't remember the name of but am clearing the shed out at the weekend and will look at the name then if you like?

They came up lovely. Been done 2 years now and even the bit behind the hob which gets scrubbed a lot looks good as new.

My tip is paint on with a brush to get into the grout and then use a gloss roller to smooth out.

Oh And also I'd stick to white!

I've done mine with white gloss tile paint and it looks fine Smile

We used spray on paint for tiles around the fire. Can't remember the name as it was about 4 years ago. But everything around had hint of green after!
