mine came up somewhere I love Lewes - if only i could afford it and it was nearer work!

OP posts:
Lancelottie · 25/03/2015 15:21

Aaaah... I should move to the Yorkshire Dales. Yes please!

tomandizzymum · 25/03/2015 15:45

Mine came with Oxford. Not sure about that. Totally different to where I live and I LOVE where I live.

Grinstead · 25/03/2015 16:29

it said i should live in village in North Yorks and the worst place for me to live is where i live now! We are looking to move (not to NYorks) but not because i hate where I live but for schools (yawn) etc

UsedToBeAPaxmanFan · 26/03/2015 04:21

Totally inaccurate!! It thinks I'd be best off living in the Shetlands Hmm

I'm sure the Shetlands are very lovely but I can't imagine myself living there.

Mind you, it thinks that where I live now (South Cambridgeshire) is an area of the Fens characterised by small market towns. There are no towns in South Cambs, market or otherwise, and it's not in the Fens.....

Glastokitty · 26/03/2015 04:45

It gave me Mid Suffolk. Errr nope. Grin It said my worst place was Newham, which isn't far wrong.

I live in Australia, I'm not swapping.

Lancelottie · 26/03/2015 09:15

Paxman - St Ives, maybe? I think that describes itself as a small market town when not-under water

Lancelottie · 26/03/2015 09:18

Nope, ignore me, that's Cambridgeshire but probably not South Cambs.

ragged · 26/03/2015 09:41

Gedling, Notts because I'm very conscientious.
Closest is South Norfolk.
BOTH ARE WRONG because they have poor public transport and are super suburban. I'm a big city girl at heart & would love to live in a tower block.

Not impressed.

Frostycake · 26/03/2015 09:47

West Dorset apparently.

Never been but it looks lovely online and I love East Sussex (future retirement location!)

I am open, conscientious and slightly neurotic Grin

I currently live in the Midlands which is BAD apparently (for me at any rate).

Apatite1 · 26/03/2015 09:49

I got lewes too!

Based on where I actually live, Kensington and Chelsea came pretty close, so maybe I should just move a couple of miles and live happily ever after!

Sprucegoose · 26/03/2015 11:45

Lewes here as well. Love it too, I grew up near there. Apparently I should not be living in Croydon!

PoisonPension · 26/03/2015 11:47

Warwick, apparently.

TranquilityofSolitude · 26/03/2015 11:48

I got the town I moved from a year ago Confused

UsedToBeAPaxmanFan · 26/03/2015 12:39

You're right second time, Lancelottie , St Ives is a very pretty market town, but it's in Huntingdonshire., not South Cambs Smile

Zinxie · 26/03/2015 12:46

I got mid Suffolk. I don't think it's a very good test, is it. It doesn't ask if you like mooching around soho, or going to Japanese restaurants.

throckenholt · 26/03/2015 14:13

great - it decided I was neurotic (tendency to experience negative emotions like anxiety, nervousness and depression.) - not how I see myself :( Presumably that is why I can at best expect 58% life satisfaction (47% in the worst location - ).

And it says I should live where I live ! Where the average age is 5 years younger than me, and the average income if a couple of thousand less than I earn.

Ho hum.

throckenholt · 26/03/2015 14:15

UsedToBeAPaxmanFan - that would better fit North Cambridgeshire

nickEcave · 26/03/2015 14:23

Well I get 54% life satisfaction in my best location and 43% life satisfaction in my worst location. Looks like where-ever I live is not going to make a huge amount of difference!!
