Wait after making an offer

I made an offer on a property on Thursday morning.
I knew the vendor had a viewing friday night and saturday morning and stated she would consider the interest and then make a descision.

I am still waiting to hear and it is driving me insane, I really like this house.
How quickly would you normally hear after making an offer?
Its not likely to be longer than tomorrow is it?

Depends. We waited a week for a response on our first offer recently. Basically the vendors were being unrealistic about the value of their house and struggled to consider offers (according to the estate agent)
