Is this a feasible idea?

Posted this on house keeping but realised it was best suited on DIY.

I live in a mid terraced house, to the back of it we have a decent sized brick outhouse. It's water tight, damp proofed and has electricity and double glazing.

I already have my dryer in there, however I'd like to have washing machine in there too. My reason for doing this is so I can have a dishwasher put in my kitchen where the washer currently is.

Does anybody have an idea on how much it would roughly cost to have a plumber fit and install the correct pipes running from the house? We already have an outside tap so in theory it should be easy, or am I been naive?!

Is the outside tap near or on the outbuilding? Sounds like a great idea as you only need a cold feed for a washing machine. It will need to drain too.

The outside tap is about 2m away from the outhouse. The outhouse has all its own guttering and drain system so in theory a plumber could connect the drainage to them.

It's a strange building really, the size of a box bedroom and brick inside. Yet has its own lighting and electrics, even double glazing etc. It also has another little outhouse attached to it that I presume used to be a coal bunker many moons ago.

Doesn't sound like a big job ask 2 of local plumbers for quotes and go with the middle one

Sorry ask 3 obviously no middle of 2
