kitchen paint - limited colour range

do you have to use kitchen or bathroom paint? I have spent ages selecting the colours that will work just right only to realise that they aren't available in the dulux kitchen / bathroom range.

Does it really matter? what if you use a paint in a soft sheen? is that kind of the same thing?

Dulux paint mixing system will do kitchen and bathroom paints and as they are done using a trade base they are good quality

Thanks, I asked a boy at the diy shop could they do that, and he said NO!!! maybe he was just being really lazy, or maybe he was new. I did think that it would be possible.

I've never used kitchen or bathroom paint - just ordinary paint.

Kitchen paint is tough and can cope with being scrubbed.
Bathroom paint is similar but has fungicides in it, to help prevent mildew.

mit you may have to go to slightly bigger shop to find the full range. However, I guess he was just idle the wrong person to ask. I painted our kitchen a lovely blu-tak colour last week, paint got from local hardware shop.

Yep the colour mixing desk in B&Q can mix a kitchen/bathroom paint in any colour from thier range
