Statement kitchens Pontefract (or any other kitchen companies in Yorkshire?)

Morning all. Having started Mothers Day with some cold toast and lumpy porridge, the excitement continues as I spend more time thinking about our new kitchen. Have pretty much narrowed down layout and style, and am now looking at the independents as well as the big companies (had a price quoted by John Lewis yesterday - almost passed out). Does anyone have any experience of this company - their website looks good but I couldn't find much by way of reviews. I like that they provide an end to end service. If not, does anyone have recommendations for mid-priced (not high end!!) companies in Yorkshire (we are just North of York). Thanks in advance!

I am still (7 years on) very pleased with the kitchen we got from Riverside Interiors of Penistone (n of Sheffield). Although based in South Yorks, they travel around the country, so York shouldn't be a problem. They mske their own kitchens in an on-site factory, and were 20-30 % cheaper than equivalent branded/big names that we looked at. Mid price.

Great, thank you for that, I will add them to the list.

Have you looked at Harval in Wakefield? I think they use the same cabinets as JL. I can recommend them as a company (they haven't done our kitchen but have done our bedroom and living room).

The DIY Kitchens showroom is well worth visiting.

Thanks, have heard good things re DIY kitchens but I think we want the project management element as well as just buying the kitchen. Thanks also for the Wakefield recommendation
