Could I ask what colour you painted your ceiling and woodwork, please.

Oh, and if it's not too noisy what colour carpet have you got Smile

Thanks

Have had Elephant's Breath on my dining room walls for over 5 years now and I still think it is a great colour. Ceilings is white and there is a cream carpet in there at the mo. It looks great next to my deep burgundy arm chair too.

RoyCroppersCricketBat · 14/03/2015 22:57

Thanks Aesop funnily enough we have a burgundy arm chair going in the room, too :) (Great minds think alike)

Same as Tyneside! :) lovely colour, still loving it. Very warm and calm - perfect for our bedroom.

starsandmoonandback · 15/03/2015 14:38

We have this in our bedroom! It looks nice with deep reds and purples I think. However, I find it a bit dull for my bedroom....but that's just me! We also have white woodwork and ceiling, and a dark oatmeal colour carpet. Where are you putting it?

crossparsley · 15/03/2015 14:39

On most walls in the hall/stairs. Woodwork and ceiling are White Tie. Been there for several years and I still love it, would do it again.

beachyhead · 15/03/2015 14:41

We have it in the hall. Ceiling is regular white, paintwork is James White, stair carpet is a multi coloured patterned number which the previous owner left and we can't afford to replace!

crossparsley · 15/03/2015 14:42

Sorry carpet is light beige with a bit of grey-pink (does that make it taupe?). I think pinky rather than yellowy works better with EB.

Blackeyez09 · 15/03/2015 14:47

Living room
Woodwork is white but I will most likely change to strong white, ceiling white and white above picture rail

Floor is stripped boards with persian style rug and sofa is dark mushroom brown (not chocolate)

I have a large feature bay which I'm getting plantation shutters and will inject done colour with curtains.

haggardoldwitch · 15/03/2015 17:21

I have EB on woodwork (doors & skirting) with Skimming Stone on the walls. Dimples ceiling.
It's in DS's bedroom and looks smart & male.

mandy214 · 15/03/2015 19:54

We have it in the lounge, all white woodwork (skirting boards / built in cabinets) with beige carpet.

I do love the colour but it's quite a high traffic area and it has marked quite considerably blaming the children. I would have the paint colour matched.

MillyMollyMama · 15/03/2015 19:57

Wimborne White used for woodwork. A warmer white works well. We have dark wood floors but I would put it with a warmer toned grey carpet if you want a carpet.

RoyCroppersCricketBat · 15/03/2015 20:22

Thanks for all the replies :)

Stars we are putting it in a new family room. The only other thing we have got for the room is a Flint coloured sofa from Sofa.Com so everything else needs to be bought new. The rest of the downstairs has oak flooring, but we thought for a bit of comfort we'd get a carpet for this room! I love EB but am nervous about making a mistake as it's costing us a fortune at the moment :)

I'm definitely going to use EB though.... I Luffs it

We have Dimity on the ceiling and skirting/frames and it's glorious.
