Didn't drain it down so am guessing water in the bottom?

Yes but it will be smelly so will need a couple of good cleans.

To drain a dishwasher you only have to lie the waste hose on the floor and prop the door slightly open once you have finished moving it.

Mine did - but as PigletJohn says you may want to do a cleaningrun - you can get stuff that you put in an empty dishwasher that will clean it.

Ours did. Gave it a couple of hot washes with dishwasher cleaner though.
