Whwn I moved into my house 6 years ago it already had an awful cream paint colour on the front. Painted straight onto the bricks!

Has anybody had theirs sand blasted, if so.. how did it turn out and how much am I looking at it costing? Thankyou :)

Noooo you don't want to do sand blasting. Will take off the external coating of the bricks leaving them weather vulnerable. There are now much much better ways to remove exterior paint (various chemicals).

these guys will do a quote but they're London based so you may find cheaper if not in London.

Another no from me too! If it's a period property systems such as DOFF or JOSS work. Sandblasting will wreck the bricks.

No expert but have been looking into the same thing.

Products like Kling-strip, they are applied like a thick coating, left to work chemically then when removed, take the paint off with them. You can get trial packs to do a test patch on your wall, to make sure it will remove your particular type of coating. Peel-away is another one.
