Does anyone have white bi-folds?
Our first preference is for white bi-folds doors at the back of our North-East facing extension (or even French doors or sliding doors for that matter) to make it as light and bright as possible and to match the white window frames. However when we've spoken to glazing companies for quotes I think they are gently trying to dissuade us. Mainly because they say the black rubber between the doors is too stark and if you get white rubber the quality and longevity is not as good. Another issue is it is more noticeable if they are scratched or marked. As for popularity, the different shades of grey are more in vogue at the moment.
If you have white bi-folds how do they stand up to wear & tear, is the black or white rubber between the doors an issue, would you recommend them? Anything else I should know?
I see them on Houzz all the time so I can't be the only person going this way.
Thanks!
