How of these carousel shelves work?

Second hand kitchen has a carousel in the corner unit

I can't figure out how the shelves should sit
There is a white plastic bracket under each and pin holes in the supporting pole but nothing to go in the holes

Each shelf has a small metal 'tag' underneath but these don't sit in / on the plastic bracket as I'd assumed they should

Does anyone have similar and can shed some light on how I can fix them?

I tried putting a screw through the pin hole but that didn't hold the shelf securely

Thanks

I would go to your nearest B&Q/Homebase/Wickes have a look at their kitchen displays, they have corner units with carousels. Also look in the accessories section where you can buy all the internal fittings for kitchens. It might be something is missing and you have to buy a new one. Good luck.

Thanks Angel. I've tried local b&q and wickes with no luck. I might have to widen my search to other kitchen places.

I think it might be a pretty old system, all the ones I've seen in shops have plastic shelves where these are metal
