Moving a radiator

Hi, anyone know how involved this is likely to be, and roughly how much it might cost?

Hoping to move shortly and would like to move one of the radiators in a small bedroom to sit below the window and free up some much needed wall space for storage...

Sorry I have no idea but watching with interest as I'm doing something similar. I think it all depends on where the water feed comes from and what the floor is like underneath has no fucking idea really

It's pretty straightforward - they'll take up your floorboards and run a bit more copper pipe underneath to the right location. Shouldn't cost too much at all - it's a few of hours of labour as a job, max. I would think unless you're in London it would be under £100.

You might want to think about getting a new and more efficient radiator at the same time, as they are super cheap and it might fit a bit better.

Oh thanks, that sounds encouraging, and interesting that a plumber today thought it would be around the £300 mark. Time to go for a few more quotes I think, if I can get them that is Smile.
