Mattress toppers: please share your insights...

Our mattress is good, but very hard, so we plan to put a foam topper on it. It needs to be a euro-kingsize, which is not sold in John Lewis or Soak & Sleep. Any other ideas? Also, I have been told that they can be very hot (especially for the menopausal), so please advise whether there's any material that is not going to cook me! Very grateful and thank you in advance!

try ikea. We brought a cheap one (£80 for a double) for our spare room, Ive slept in there a few times and its really comfortable.

Thanks Sunny, I've done just that. I've slept on a couple of these in the past, but had forgotten. Now eager for it to arrive on Wednesday!

I looked for latex, Sacbina but the one made by IKEA seems to have vanished or is no longer available in the UK.

I have TWO mattress toppers on my bed. Has made an enormous difference to the hard mattress that we have. One is quilted and the other is fleecy one side and quilted the other.
