Is cork flooring a good idea in bedrooms?

We need to replace carpet after it rotted from a leak upstairs. But I'm wondering whether to try cork as DH has asthma and it seems less likely to hold dust.
Has anyone experience of this? I'd love any suggestions if anyone's done it. Thanks so much
