What floor for recently screeded floor?

My floor has been screeded 50-100mm (to even it up) & the builder now tells me that the rule for drying is 1mm per day, so we can't lay a floor for 3+ months...I can't lose the use of that space for so long!

Any ideas for a breathable floor covering?

Just use it the way it is and let it dry...

Some sort of matting.

Oooo snap! At some point your builder can decide to paint it to stop the moisture rising and damaging the floor you do put down, but it is disappointing isn't it but even that is a bit iffy. Best thing to do is wait. We've just left it as it is.

This is one of the reasons we had a suspended timber floor sorry.
