Ikea Godmorgon basin unit

I like them very much but I'm not mad about Ikea sinks and especially not keen on their taps.

If we bought one, would we be able to use our own basin and taps?

We have the double with their sink and our own taps. Love it - so easy to clean!

I've given up on the Godmorgon (my plumber advised against) and ordered the Laufen Pro S slimline basin and drawer uniti. It costs 5 X the price of the Ikea Godmorgon.
