Retro vinyl for covering chairs?

We've got some possibly 60s wooden kitchen chairs with brown vinyl type cushioned seats. I want to re-cover them with something a bit brighter, with a slightly retro feel. Any suggestions for good websites? Thanks.

You could use an oilcloth - Cath Kidston do some, so do John Lewis and try www.onlyoilcloths.co.uk.

Wowfudge that exactly what I need. Couldn't remember what that stuff was called. Perfect, thank you!

That's a great website wowfudge. We are thinking of doing something similar Smile

Check out Norfolk Textiles too Fedup. Lots of choice there too, although I obviously can't vouch for their service or anything. Knowing what to actually put in a search engine has opened up a world of possibilities...

I immediately thought of Cath Kidston when you said retro style and knew they did that plasticky stuff you can use for a wipe clean tablecloth - didn't know what it was called myself Grin.

A friend recovered some dining chairs with it and they look really good; her kids had ruined the faux suede fabric the chairs were originally covered with.

The beauty of it is that you can just use a staple gun to fix it to the pad.
