painting gas pipes

Or am I being totally ridiculous. had a new boiler and have the copper colour piping showing. Do they have to be boxed in or is there a pai t j can get for them. Confused Confused

Against all advice that it would not work, I painted all of the pipes coming out of my boiler with normal matt emulsion (same as on the walls) and after 4 years it still looks fine. My boiler is in a bit of a weird position so there is quite a lot of pipework too.

I wouldn't box them in in case you need to get to them.

I painted mine too, just the same colour as the wall. It's fine.

thank you. I was painting round them yesterday and made quite a lot of splashes on them and it got me thinking. May carry it in.
