Where do people buy kitchens and bathrooms at Homes Under the Hammer prices?!

We are thinking of buying a house which needs a lot of work doing to it. We'll need new flooring throughout, new kitchen, new bathroom...

When we watch Homes Under the Hammer (quite a lot!) lots of people seem to be getting an fitting kitchens and bathrooms for prices much lower than I have ever seen them so my question is where?
Are there trade only places I don't know about but could get a tradesman to buy and fit, or ebay or somewhere else?
I hate to feel I might be missing out on an absolute bargain when the house will take almost all of our money to start with!

I know, they make it seem so easy! A lot of them are developers so probably do know a few 'tricks of the trade'.

I watch it every morning while BF'ing.

Seconding ebay! Also a lot of posh showrooms will have a dingy room out the back, or even a warehouse in another location, with clearance stuff where excellent bargains may be had.

Most of the cost of kitchens and bathrooms is the fitting ,if you can do that yourself it really saves money .

Howdens and Benchmarx are trade only, we are planning on a Benchmarx kitchen which we will get a kitchen fitter to install. Ikea kitchens are also very cheap for basics. I think like most things you can spend a little or a lot depending on your spec. As said before, the fitting adds a lot. The people on HUTH all seem to have a brother/father-in-law/mate who is in one trade or another, that's why it is so cheap. And proper developers usually have their own crew who they employ.

We renovate houses and use a online company called DIY kitchens and much better quality than Howdens an the like!! Our kitchen if we had had it done with a kitchen company would have come in at about 20k!
In our own home we put in lovely gloss cream units with top of the range appliances, biggish kitchen and it came in at under 5k.
This included solid oak worktops and up-stands.
We spend hours trolling the net to get fab deals, we bought an extractor fan (real designer feature) rrp of 1.5k for 150 as it was a second ( it had a tiny scratch on the back that you can't see when fixed).
Spend time on searching it will save you money.

My FIL fitted our last kitchen but he's getting older and less keen to take on big jobs so looks like we may have to find someone else if it comes to it. Will keep checking ebay for bargains and will definitely have a look at DIY kitchens, Tutt. Is it a company any old person can buy from?
