Should we have stone tiles, karndean that looks like or something else?

It would also continue use through the hall and into downstairs toilet and utity.

Is karndean easy to clean?

Ta.

Karndean is fabulous! We have it through our hall, kitchen diner and downstairs cloakroom. Best interior decision we made for our new home.

webjunkie · 10/02/2015 20:25

And yes, very easy to clean and hard wearing.

We need to make this decision too. What sort of heating will you have? I want wet underfloor heating...would kardean be ok?

Crikeyblimey · 10/02/2015 21:22

I think we will stick with the rads. I've contemplated underfloor but we are spending many bucks already and I want some change for fancy appliences.

Another vote for Karndean, fab stuff.

We've got limestone. It's very pretty & hides the dirt well. Might be cold without UFH though.

Marmitelover55 · 11/02/2015 08:10

We've got engineered oak in our hall/kitchen/diner/family room and its fab (we have tile is in the utility). Personally I don't like something that is pretending to be something else.

We are having reclaimed parquet.

EddieReadersglasses · 11/02/2015 19:39

We are planning to have wood effect ceramic tiles in our new house as it will have wet ufh so makes sense to tile it but I prefer look of wood. It's a good compromise for us.
If we didn't have ufh I go for engineered wood or good quality laminate like quickstep

MonkeySeeMonkeyDooo · 11/02/2015 19:53

We're having Kardean in our kitchen/family area. We wanted something a bit softer than tiles. If the DC fall over it's not as hard.

TalkinPeace · 11/02/2015 20:53

I love my bamboo - under £15 / sqm

We are getting Amtico spacia, it was a very similar price to karndean and the feedback has been good.
